Lignocel bedding is a direct alternative to aspen and ideal for animals that prefer drier environments. Produced from wood sourced from sustainable forests, heat treated and then shredded. Ideal for species that nest or burrow.
Ensure the habitat is clean and dry. Spread the bedding across the bottom of the vivarium, terrarium or tub. Minimum layer of (2.5cm/1”). If you are using a heat mat consult the manufacturer's instructions on substrate depth. Spot clean daily, replace monthly (more frequently if soiled or wet).
Feed snakes in a separate container to minimise the risk of accidental substrate ingestion.
