What is the Jacobs Ladder Fern Silk Plant?

A realistic, natural looking silk plant bush, based on the frond shaped leaves and colours of the Jacobs Ladder Fern plant. This dense and colourful plant is fully poseable, with wire stems so can be positioned to fit anywhere. It is easy to clean and is suitable for woodland, tropical or arid vivarium environments.

The benefits of the Jacobs Ladder Fern Silk Plant

This plant offers thick ground cover to hide under and provides environmental enrichment for your exotic pet. As this silk plant looks so natural inside your enclosure, it works perfectly to fill in sparse areas of the setup, without limiting freedom of movement for the animal. It can also be used in conjunction with live plants in shady or drier areas of the enclosure where live plants don’t generally fare well.

  • Suitable for terrariums and vivariums.
  • Creates a safe retreat for a variety of species.
  • Easy to keep clean and maintain.

How to use the Jacobs Ladder Fern Silk Plant

  1. Carefully position each stem to the desired shape and straighten the leaves. They may look creased after unpacking, but will settle once positioned.
  2. Place within the terrarium or vivarium, taking care to avoid direct heat from bulbs or mats.
  3. The plant can be placed directly on the ground, or push the main stem into a piece of cork bark or other decoration.
  4. Can be secured using adhesive hooks or suckers to add foliage higher within the enclosure.

Please note: Cork Bark is not included and is for illustration purposes only.
