Also known as the Mexican Tiger Rump. This species has been confused with Cyclosternum fasciatum for many years and mislabelled by keepers.
This bird spider has a beautiful orange carapace opposed to the black found on C. fasciatum and has distinct tiger markings on its abdomen.
