We are sending our best wishes to you, our lovely customers. It has been our pleasure to provide you and your exotic pets with everything you need; and our team thank you for being so supportive and loyal throughout what has been a challenging year.

Specialist reptile centres and retailers up and down the country have undoubtedly faced difficulties during 2023 like no other year. Exotic Pets UK like many, has been riding the wave of the cost-of-living-crisis and fighting, high inflation, significant increases in rent, rates, energy, wages, and a market under significant strain by less consumer spending.

Like many small businesses, we need your ongoing support, so we can continue to offer you the best products, prices, support, and advice available.

What lies ahead?

Looking ahead to 2024 we expect the economic climate to be very similar, so here are some things we are going to do to support you and your pets.

Many of you have told us you want some money saving tips, so the team are going to work on an article on brumation and several other key areas that often get overlooked such as correct thermostat use. These methods are proven and safe for your pets. They are also a great way of saving on energy costs.
We will be launching our own range of Essentials products; these should offer significant savings against some of the existing big brands.
Delivery savings. We have been in talks with new couriers, and we hope to reduce the cost of shipping in some areas.

We are here to stay!

Operating a reptile centre is no easy task, but we are a passionate team of exotic pet keeping veterans who enjoy sharing knowledge and have a lifelong love affair caring for and breeding reptiles, amphibians, and inverts. However, we must urge you to continue supporting us and other specialist stores around the country. We really do need your help!
