Our range of Insect Boost formulas are created with insect health in mind. This mix of naturally blended insect food has been created with the purpose of nourishing and gut-loading insects with top quality ingredients. It contains a variety of plants, grains, seeds, pulses, vitamins and minerals to ensure your feeder insects are nutrient dense when fed to your reptiles, amphibians or arachnids.
It is also perfectly balanced to be used as a food source for other ‘pet’ bugs, and is readily accepted by various species of cockroaches, millipedes and beetles.
Our versatile food can be used dry in conjunction with our ‘Drink Me’ hydrating water gel in a separate dish, for the insects to consume. There is also the option to offer some fresh vegetation in addition to the Insect Boosts to ensure the insects are filled to the brim with a variety of nutrients for your pets.
We firmly believe ‘a healthy outside starts on the inside’ for exotic pets. It is recommended to both gut load and hydrate your feeder insects for at least 24 hours prior to offering as prey. Alongside their low nutritional value, dehydrated insects will not absorb nutrients as easily, become weak, lethargic and die off prematurely. Feeding and watering your feeder insects is more cost effective than losing and replacing them constantly.
